Senior Pastors

Our Pastors are beautiful representations of what a life poured out looks like. They have been in the Rogue Valley since 1994 serving the local church in some capacity. Through a GOD orchestrated event, in 2018, they came under The Way World Outreach in San Bernardino and launched The Way Medford Family Church. Here they have led the church in a pursuit of intimacy and power. As Pastors they lead the charge and show the church what passionate pursuit of God looks like and how a true Christian should live. They are as real as it gets. Their heart for God and the Rogue Valley is shown in every meeting with them.

This duo is a gift to The Way Medford. They love people and want the best for them. They support every ministry here by being aware of the details and offering guidance and accountability. They carry a spirit of excellence and humility that every person can learn from. They love God and love people and make the perfect people to support our Pastors and ministries here at The Way.

Neftali Mateos

Associate Pastor

Neftali has a heart for this community in every way. He sees the good where most cannot. He sees hope and purpose where most people would walk away. He serves here at The Way with a heart of a shepherd. Keeping watch so that no sheep is destroyed, taking care when the lost make their way home. He carries the heart of God and will give all of himself to see you walk in the fullness of what God had called you to do.

Regina Mateos

Associate Pastor | Worship Leader

Regina grew up in the church and has been ministering to the Lord with her voice since a young age. Her heart for true worship has been a cornerstone to the intimacy that our church carries. The presence of God and the anointing of God is a gift that she stewards well. Holiness is the standard and His Presence is the goal.

Bobby Lucero

Pastor | Men’s Home Director

Love permeates from this man of God. His testimony is one that will touch your heart and leave you speechless. Only God can transform a life like this. He is a pillar in our church and an example to those who know him that God will use a willing vessel. Bobby is one of the most selfless men you will ever meet. His love for Jesus is what allows him to love people the way he does. We are blessed to serve with this man.

Romona Baldonado

Women’s Home Director | Adopt a Block

Ramona carries a heart of compassion not seen by many. She is moved by this compassion, as Jesus was, to reach the lost and share the Gospel. She will link up and pray and believe with you because she knows God is able. He saw her through some tough times and she is confident that He will do it for you.

Ruben Felix

Leadership | Prison Ministry

You won’t find a more steadfast person than Ruben. He is a Men’s Home graduate and a crucial person in our church. Ruben has this gift of making you feel comfortable. He is gentle and kind. He carries an evangelistic mantle that God is growing him in. The bible says to give what you have been given and Ruben shares his faith every chance he gets because he is living proof of what God can do.

Cathy Barr

Special Events | Admin Support

Every church needs someone like Cathy. She is such a blessing to those who know her and those who meet her will soon know why. An intercessor and prayer warrior. She loves Jesus and she can’t help but tear up when she talks about the lover of her soul. She is as practical as she is spiritual. Her level of hospitality and kindness is that of Mary and Martha, a beautiful combination of both.

Dennis Lagorio

Leadership | Adopt A Block

Ever optimistic and cheerful. Dennis is also a graduate of our Men’s Home. He has a heart to help and to see those where he once was where he is now! He will make you smile and feel welcome. There is a level of confidence that he walks in that comes from knowing Jesus. He is calm and caring and will give you the shirt off his back if you need.

Zackary McGary

Leadership | Creative Director

There are many areas where Zack has stepped in and shared his gifts and talent. He walks in humility and obedience. He brings a different perspective to the leadership here at The Way and we have been blessed by that in so many ways. He leads his family well, he is a man of integrity and of the Word. His pursuit of all that God says is his, is evident with choices he makes and authority he carries.
